Entering his first season as an associate at HDI, Anthony Pirone joins the team after two years as video coordinator with USA Basketball, working with the Men's Olympic National Team, Junior National Teams, and various FIBA competition squads. During his time, he helped the 2024 Men's Olympic National Team capture a gold medal in Paris, assisted the 2025 Men's U16 Team capturing a gold medal at the FIBA AmeriCup, and contributed to the success of multiple Nike Hoop Summit teams.
Prior to his work with USA Basketball, Anthony spent two seasons as a graduate assistant at Providence College, where he served as the program's primary video coordinator. While at Providence, he helped the Friars win their first-ever Big East Regular Season Championship and advance to the Sweet 16 in 2022. He began his career as a student manager at Marquette University. Anthony earned his bachelor's degree in economics from Marquette in 2021 and a master's from Providence College in 2023.
