Ty is in his third season working full-time with the HDI team. He’s a graduate of the University of Alabama, having completed his master’s degree in business analytics. During his time at UA, Ty served as a manager for the Alabama men’s basketball team for three years, ultimately rising to Head Manager. While working with the Tide basketball program, Ty was in charge of “blue collar stats” for Coach Nate Oats’ patented player tracking system, among other duties.
Since joining HDI in 2020, Ty's role has grown alongside the company. After two years in his role as Analyst, Ty was promoted to Director of Product and joined HDI’s Leadership Team. In his current position, Ty manages the "data side" of HDI, where he and his team work primarily to maintain HDI's current suite of offerings, while also working diligently to develop new products for the future.
