Weston is in his third season at HDI, earning a promotion to Analyst ahead of the 2025-2026 season. He graduated from Alma College in 2016 with a double major in Elementary Education and Social Studies and a minor in Integrated Science. While at Alma, Weston played both basketball and golf. In Weston’s senior year at Alma, the Scots basketball team had its highest win total in program history and had its only NCAA tournament appearance, making it to the Elite 8.
After graduating, Weston coached at Alma for two years while getting his master’s in Sport Administration from Central Michigan University.After getting his graduate degree, Weston went on to coach at Northwood University for three seasons. By the end of his tenure there, he was the team’s defensive, video, and analytics coordinator as well as the bigs’ skill development coach. In the 2019-20 season, Northwood tied for the most wins in program history and made a conference championship game appearance for the first time.
After Northwood, Weston was hired as the Video Coordinator at UTSA. In his two seasons there, he aided in video, scouting, and analytics for the Roadrunners. Weston lives in Grand Rapids, Michigan, with his wife Mary and their cat Jorah.
