Jared is in his first season with HDI. He attended California Lutheran University for his first year of collegiate basketball before transferring to Purdue University to play his final three seasons, where he earned a bachelor's degree in Organizational Leadership. During his time at Purdue, Jared was a 3x All-Academic Big Ten honoree and earned a full scholarship for his senior season in 2021-22.
Following his time as a student-athlete, he stayed at Purdue to serve as a Graduate Assistant Coach under Matt Painter from 2022-24, where he earned a master's certificate in Leadership, Change Management, and Negotiations from the Mitch Daniels School of Business. Jared spent the 2024-25 season as the Director of Basketball Operations for the University of Illinois Chicago men’s basketball team. Jared is excited to use his coaching expertise and relationship building skills to provide a unique perspective and add value to the HDI team.
