Sam joins HD Intelligence after graduating from Iowa State with a degree in Business Analytics and earning a Sports Analytics Certification from the University of Missouri.
During his two years as a student manager at Iowa State, he handled day-to-day operations, assisted with on-court workouts, and supported season-long analytical projects. He also spent two seasons coaching boys’ basketball at his alma mater, Dowling Catholic High School in Iowa, where he developed scouting reports and analytical insights that helped the program reach the state semifinals for the first time in 34 years.
At HDI, Sam brings a strong competitive drive and passion for analytics to his work supporting college basketball programs.
