Zach is entering his second season with HDI after working as a graduate assistant for Southern Methodist University men’s basketball from 2020 to 2022. With the Mustangs, Zach oversaw video processes, daily basketball operations, and a team of student managers. Before SMU, Zach worked for the Dallas Mavericks as part of their Player Development team, where he assisted with workouts and on-court drills for the 2019-2020 season.
Prior to working with the Mavericks, Zach played for four years at the University of Illinois-Springfield (D2). Zach was a 3-year captain, holds the school record for career rebounds, and was the recipient of the 2015-2016 Coaches Award.
After serving as an Analyst during the 2022-23 season, Zach was promoted to Director of Operations. Zach is responsible for overseeing and optimizing various aspects of our company’s day-to-day functions.
